Pestipalin started in 2024 from a simple but clear idea within Bandung’s creative scene: to create a comfortable entertainment experience that people of all ages can enjoy, while staying close to local identity. The name “Pestipalin” comes from the local way of saying “festival,” showing the city’s unique culture. Pestipalin is not just a music concert, but a reflection of West Java’s pop culture and strong community spirit.

Despite its recent inception, Pestipalin has rapidly transformed from a local initiation into a widely recognized music collective. By daring to break down genre barriers uniting indie, pop, rock, EDM, and dangdut to the underground scene the festival has successfully set a new standard in delivering the ultimate "Pestipal Urang Bandung" experience.

As it grows, Pestipalin believes that it is not owned by one person or group. It belongs to the musicians, sponsors, vendors, and especially the “Barudak” who come together to enjoy the event. With the spirit of “Pestipal Urang Bandung,” Pestipalin will continue to be a safe and comfortable space for young people, and a creative hub for the people of Bandung.
